Barak and the Lady Johanna.
Having picked Barak out at first sight, the Lady Johanna has been

|
Medieval Turnshoes.
These shoes are made of red deer hide uppers with thick cow hide
soles. They are sewn
inside-out, then turned
after stitching to hide
the stitches.

Off to the Tiltyard.
The Lady Johanna and Barak are escorted by a halberdier. |

12th C. Norman.
The Knights of St. Denys is an equestrian Timeline group,
and different time
periods are allowed.
Our members can
portray from 850 AD to
1525 AD.
|
Armour Undergarments.
Here our Norman knight is shown in a padded gambeson made of linen and stuffed with wool. A similarly padded coif is on his head.
Woolen hosen cover his legs, and a short
boot of turnshoe construction completes
the outfit.
